“ Hands down one of our favorite indian vegetarian places in Singapore. They have 2 locations, this one and one opposite Mustafa. We always come to KP if we want to have chaat as it is one of the few indian dishes that is complicated and time-consuming to make at home. Have come here many many times, never been disappointed by the food. ”
“ Must have is the naan bombs , with the makni and chole. Probably the best innovative dish i have eaten in a while. All the chaat items are great, chole itself wasnt to special here but good service and ambience is great at reasonable prices. Will be more than happy to go here once again. ”
“ Loved it. Mixed Chaat appetiser was a burst of textures and contrasts: sweet, spicy, touch of sour. Pomegranate bits with deep fried crunch served chilled was a natural yogurt. Paneer Butter masala was great with garlic naan - perfect pairing. Enjoyed the jeera rice. Fluffy white rice with bits of crunchy cumin was simple and wonderful. ”
“ The Kailash Parbat I am reviewing is on Serangoon Road, next to the temple and to sum up in one word, it is terrific! My wife loved the Indo-Chinese soups and I (while not always so inclined) must agree with her. Also impossible to resist was the pani puri, with the pani being the best part --- the puri could be less brittle and maybe, for my taste, the filling could have more chana and potatoes and less boondi. The ragda pattice was excellent even though the ragda was prepared with garbanzos instead of dried yellow batanas. When it comes to main dishes, the daal makhani and the matter paneer stand out and the naans are prepared to perfection. I wonder why the Manhattan Kailash Parbat is so awful and cannot hold a candle to its awesome Singapore or Mumbai namesakes. The one problem is the wide selection and here we were lucky to get the informed opinion of Riaz, one of the servers, and found his recommendations to be delightfully delicious. Singapore (one of my favorite cities) is a foodie paradise and with so many outstanding choices it is a difficult decision to repeat a restaurant. However in the case of Kailash Parbat we just did that and I for one have no regrets. ”
“ Very nice ambiance. Excellent hospitality. Perfect vegetarian food. Must try papdi chat, lemon soda, paneer. Food comes on time. Good for family and groups. Nicely located near the Little India MRT statio try masala butter milk and sev puri too ”
“ (This was at the Syed Alwi Rd outlet , opposite Mustafa) Pav Bhaji was great, gone in a flash in a few minutes , it was so tasty! They have a large menu so I'll be back here to try out more items. Everyone around me had something different and it all looked good. ”
“ I didn't eat in, this is just a review of the chaat I parcelled. We lived in India before and of course one of the things you'd miss from there is the street food. This came up in a conversation recently and so I was pointed in this direction. Got to the restaurant, i said to the floor manager that I wanted chaat. He said what chaat, he had all sorts of chaat, and pointed to the counter. It's true, they've got all kinds. Settled on the Bhel puri and the tikki chaat. Took a while to get them ready, but it was worth the wait. Let's see, first pack, we walked and ate on way back to car parked about 400m away. Between wife, son and myself, it was wiped out before we could reach the car. We saved the bhel puri for dinner. Didn't take long for that to go too. I do apologise I got no photos to show. It's one of those things that go too quickly before you can even take a picture. Next time, it will be eat in for me. ”
“ Fantastic veg food! Great delivery! Amazing prices!! I have been a regular at KP's for 3 years now & their service as well as delivery absolutely delights you! For fellow foodies from Mumbai to Peshawar, you will love their pain puri / poochkas, bhel puri (yummmm...) and chats. For serious connoisseurs there is a range of food to fill your tummies. I favour the lasooni palak! Finger-lickingly amazing. They have 5 types of biryani's & umpteen types of roti. Vegetables dishes? Endless!!!! Sweets? Ohmigosh I almost don't know where to start! Vast range, & at least one sweet to match everyone's tongue ! (Sigh) need to stop - keyboards full of drool.... ”
